South Dakota Ag News Headlines HBO's Temple Grandin Film Receives Rave Reviews South Dakota Ag Connection - 03/09/2010 The HBO film that chronicles Temple Grandin's life and career is receiving rave reviews across a wide range of audiences. The movie's Denver premiere was co-hosted by the Autism Society of Colorado and has been applauded by film critics including the New York Times and USA Today. It has also received positive reviews from NCBA and the American Humane Association and Federation of Animal Science Societies. Ag United for South Dakota was honored to host Dr. Grandin in South Dakota in June 2009. She shared a number of animal handling techniques and suggestions with more than 350 livestock producers at South Dakota Secretary of Agriculture Bill Even's farm near Humboldt. The farmers and ranchers who attended her presentation walked away with a number of practical solutions to improve the well-being of their cattle and safety of people working with them.
